K-MINE Module

Geology

  • for geologists, specialists creating geological databases and 3D modeling of deposits.
  • for consultants evaluating minerals and reserves of solid minerals.
K-MINE Geology Module | Advanced 3D Modeling & Geological Analysis 1

Cubic block modeling

K-MINE allows the creation of an irregular cubic block model with the possibility of rotating angles along the axes and subblocking with an octahedral tree data structure.

Users can import the model from *.csv format. It is possible to recreate a new model based on a previously created one to change the minimum allowable block size or add attributes.

Seam block modeling

K-MINE provides the ability to automatically create a seam block model based on rock indices and calculate the thickness of the strata by intervals of mine workings in the database.

Automatic indexing of blocks within fault zones, oxidation zones, sediment rocks, etc. is also available.

Cubic seam block modeling

K-MINE allows you to automatically create models for workings, as well as calculate the percentage of the volume of thin seams (less than the height of the block). This model differs from the seam block model by the fixed block size along the z-axis.

This BM can be used with algorithms to optimize the final contours of open pits, as well as for planning mining operations.

Implicit modeling

K-MINE has implicit and explicit simulation. Implicit modeling involves the creation of triangulation surfaces using the method of radial basis functions.

K-MINE provides the ability to automatically create surfaces and solids directly from a database of rock codes or grade limits in samples, as well as surfaces from sets of linear or point objects in space.

It also gives an opportunity to use secondary data sources including geophysics, spectral drill samples and mine face scans.

Application of Geological Workings Database

K-MINE has various types of table-form datasets in a relational database.

A built-in system of formulas and triggers is available to perform calculations and complex data filtering conditions.

Statistical Data Processing & Correlation Analysis

In K-MINE, you can build distribution histograms and calculate the main statistical parameters (mode, median, coefficient of variation, etc.)
Correlation analysis and report export to *.bmp format file are also available.

Geostatistics and Kriging

It is possible to build experimental and theoretical variograms, such as a variogram along the axis of the drillholes, an omnidirectional variogram, and the determination of the ellipsoid anisotropy coefficients.

There is also an interpolation, containing the Kriging method (Simple, Ordinary, Lognormal) and cross-validation of the data.

Automated Geologic  Section Creation

It is possible to create a geological section along a broken line and project data onto a vertical plane.

The program has a convenient setting tool for visualizing exploration data parameters to prepare a report for printing.

Wireframing

Uploading images in *.bmp , *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.png, *.dds, *.tga, *.hdr, *.tif, *.tiff, *.wdp, *.hdp, * formats .jxr, *.ppm, *.pfm.

The ability to bind a raster in 3D and a built-in image calibration mechanism.

Google Maps And Google Earth Tools in K-MINE

It is possible to export data from K-MINE to Google Earth and import data from Google Maps to K-MINE.

K-MINE has a built-in geodetic calculator for converting coordinate systems and a mechanism for visualizing objects created in K-MINE in Google Earth-Pro. It is also possible to upload images from Google Maps to the K-MINE environment.

Mineral Resources And Reserves Reports (CRIRSCO Template)

K-MINE provides tabular and graphical reports for block model validation.

It is possible to plot the graph of the Grade-Tonnage Curve according to the specified step of the parameter of the minimum content of the useful component in the block (cut-off grade).

The program also has an algorithm for comparative analysis of contents in composite samples and in model blocks along the X, Y, or Z axes (Drift analysis).

Geological Reporting. Documentation
Ready to Print

K-MINE allows you to format reports and print graphic documentation, customize and save individual templates for the characteristics of the deposit or the enterprise as a whole.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of licenses does K-MINE provide and how much are they?

K-MINE provides two types of licenses monthly or annual subscriptions and perpetual licenses. Please contact the K-MINE team to learn each module’s price.

Can the K-MINE help me create accurate 3D geological models and resource estimates for my mining project?

Yes, the K-MINE Geology Module is a powerful tool for creating 3D geological models and resource estimates. However, if you require additional assistance or expertise, our Resource Modeling and Estimation service is here to help. Our experts can create detailed 3D geological, structural, and mineralization models, manage exploration databases, and provide resource estimation, classification, and reporting for all stages of projects (JORC, NI 43-101). By combining the capabilities of the Geology Module with our professional services, you can ensure the highest level of accuracy and reliability for your mining project.

How can the information be transferred from one module to another?

K-MINE is one stand-alone application with a single database, so no data transfer is necessary.  Different teams can have access to data according to their user rights.

Is K-MINE a cloud-based software?

No, K-MINE is a desktop application, however, upon request, our team can install access on the Windows server where we can set up a cloud infrastructure.
