The Neryungrinsky coal mine is one of the largest coking coal deposits in Russia (Neryungrinsky District, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)).

The Neryungrinsky field represents about 20 formations. The total mining area is over 37 square kilometers. Coal is mined using the open pit method, as most of the layers come to the surface.

The High Coal layer is the most coal-bearing one and has an area of 16 square kilometers with a maximum depth of 320 meters.

The design capacity of the Neryungrinsky coal mine is 13 million tonnes per year.

In October 2017, the 350 millionth anniversary ton of coal was shipped.
