Today, we invite you to experience the speed and efficiency of building optimal quarry and dump contours.

We start by selecting the pit bottom contours and assigning them to the desired elevation from the level list. Next, we add two roads and align them at their intersections. To enhance transportation efficiency, we introduce switchbacks—more roads mean more opportunities to minimize haul distances. However, every road that remains in the final contour increases waste material volume.

With roads added, it’s time to apply the topographic surface. Once confirmed, we observe how our pit evolves. The final step involves generating the ultimate wireframe with a single click and verifying project accuracy.

Now, let’s add dumps to complete the mine design. Setting the dump’s base elevation at +30m, we account for uneven topography, ensuring accurate positioning. Since the base elevation may not align perfectly with the terrain, we project multiple levels for precision. After adding roads and applying topography, we build the final wireframe, completing the design process.
